1. Scope
These Terms govern the CrawlVolt website, console, APIs, SDKs and related support. By creating an account, purchasing a plan or using an API key, you agree to them. CrawlVolt is intended for professional and developer use. A separate signed order takes priority if it expressly conflicts with these Terms.
2. Accounts and credentials
You must provide accurate account information and keep sessions and API keys confidential. You are responsible for activity performed with your credentials until they are revoked or you notify support. Do not embed secret keys in public client code or repositories.
3. Permitted use
You may use CrawlVolt to retrieve and transform web content you are legally permitted to access. You must comply with applicable law, contractual restrictions, intellectual-property rights, privacy rights and reasonable website access controls.
You must not use the service to bypass authentication or paywalls, access private systems without permission, distribute malware, facilitate fraud, collect credentials, overload a target, evade rate limits or process unlawful content.
4. Plans, credits and payment
Current plans, included monthly credits and billing periods are shown on the Pricing page. Credits measure successful operations according to the documented endpoint rules. Unless stated otherwise, unused monthly credits do not roll over. Failed internal requests are not billed.
Paid subscriptions renew for the selected period until cancelled through the billing portal. Fees are charged in advance through Stripe and exclude taxes unless stated otherwise. A cancellation stops the next renewal and access continues through the paid period. Eligibility and the request process are described in the Refund policy.
5. Customer content and data
You retain rights in URLs, instructions, schemas and other content you submit. You grant CrawlVolt the limited permission required to fetch, process, cache and return that content and to secure the service. The Privacy policy and DPA describe personal-data processing.
6. Availability and changes
CrawlVolt aims to operate a reliable service but does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. Features in preview may change or be withdrawn. Material changes affecting paid plans will be communicated reasonably in advance when practicable.
7. Warranties and liability
The service is provided using reasonable professional care. Web content and third-party sites remain outside CrawlVolt control. To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss. Aggregate CrawlVolt liability for a claim is limited to fees paid during the 12 months preceding the event, except where prohibited by law.
8. Termination and law
You may stop using the service and cancel a paid subscription at any time. CrawlVolt may suspend or terminate access for material breach, unlawful use, security risk or non-payment, with notice where circumstances allow. These Terms are governed by French law.
